Educate Lanka supports the Students in the Manik Farm IDP Camp !

Expanding its reach, and acknowledging the importance of the cause, Educate Lanka Foundation extended its support to the students in the Manik Farm IDP camp who expect to sit for the GCE O/L exam this December.

The Foundation joined the efforts of another volunteer network - Reconcile and Rebuild Sri Lanka - which initiated the project of providing essential stationary material to 2500 of such students in IDP camps. Educate Lanka contributed $500 on November 16th towards the total project cost of approximately $5,500. Educate Lanka is very grateful to its donors who contributed to this worthy cause.

The stationary items were delivered and distributed to the students on the weekend of October 7th, with the help of Department of Education and Department of Defense in Sri Lanka. Educate Lanka admires the efforts of Reconcile and Rebuild Sri Lanka for initiating and successfully completing this worthy and noble task.

Educate Lanka is committed to extend its collaboration of such future projects and looks forward to the continuous patronage of its supporters.
